Hola a todos!
Esta semana les quiero hablar de un "pop culture reference" 1000% de mi generación, los selfies. A mi me encantan! Son super egocéntricos, pero la verdad me dan risa y me parecen divertidos. Mi investigación de este tema comenzó topándome con el trailer de una serie nueva de ABC que aunque se ve medio mala solo por el titulo, "Selfie" la voy a ver. Aquí se los dejo:

Thanks God it's Friday! Sadly, I'm sick. Anyways I will do whatever is possible to enjoy it (nothing crazy though). I love college and my classes, but this week has had me exhausted! I've had a ton of homework + modeling gigs + play rehearsals, so yes, I haven't had very much time as I usually have to discover new stuff and pick my favorites. Esta semana he estado enferma y llena de alergia. Últimamente siento que se me hincha la cara cuando me maquillo estando resfriada. Los que me conocen bien sabrán que yo no soy partidaria de esa vaina disque "belleza natural" y que evito salir con cara lavada de mi casa cada vez que puedo. Anyways creo que encontre una solución a este problema: rimmel water-proof y en vez de tapa ojeras, usar base. Obvio no se ve perfecto, extraño mi polvo, tapa ojeras, bronzer, blush, etc. pero me parece que resuelve el problema bastante bien!

This week I've been sick and full of allergies. Lately I've felt my face swells when I wear makeup while having a cold. Those who know me closely will know I'm no "natural beauty" aficionado, I try to leave the house "face washed" as little as I can. Anyways I think I found a solution to this problem: waterproof mascara and foundation (instead of concealer). It's obviously not perfect and I do muss my face powder, concealer, bronzer, blush etc. but I think it deals with my problem pretty well!

Algo básico para mi, pero como me he acostumbrado a tomarlo aveces se me olvida su grandeza, como a cualquiera que se acostumbra a algo. Mi semana fue súper intensa y no les puedo explicar cuantas veces una taza de café me salvo el día

Coffee.
It's something basic to me, but I've gotten so used to drink it that I forget it's greatness, just like everyone else who gets used to something. My week was really intense and I can't even explain how many times a cup of coffee saved the day.

No sé y no entiendo como la gente vive sin agenda! Yo amo la mía y la cargo a literal todos lados. Cada vez que se me pierde quiero llorar. Se me había olvidado decirles pero divise una súper estrategia para estar aún mas organizada: código de colores con highlighters
-amarillo: tareas
-rosado: clases y compromisos
-verde: eventos y exámenes
-naranja: cosas random que no se me pueden olvidar
Esto ha sido súper efectivo, y estoy fascinada como ni se imaginan.

I swear to God I neither know nor understand how people live without agendas!I love mine and carry it around literally 24/7. Every time I lose it, I want to cry. I had forgotten to tell you but I figured out a new strategy to be even more organized: color coding with highlighters!
-yellow: homework and tasks
-pink: compromises and classes
-green: events and tests
-orange: rrandom things I can't forget
This has been so effective and helpful, I really recommend it.

Los vi en un video de youtube y wao me encanto. Yo hace rato soy de las que tienen diario, y siempre me tomo años en escoger. No entiendo como no se me había ocurrido comprar un cuaderno más normal y simplemente decorarlo en vez de buscar por años el que tenga la portada perfecta.

I saw them in a youtube video and wow I loved them. I've been a journal writer for a while and whenever I get a new one it takes me forever to decide which one to get. I don't even understand how could I hadn't even thought of this! Just buying a more normal looking journal and simply decorate it instead of taking forever to find I cover that I like.

Puse las mías en el insta oficial del blog (@humoyescarchablog). Aunque no lo crean que yo admita esto en mis favoritos es muy raro. Yo me craneo esta lista durante toda la semana. Voy apuntando, borrando y reemplazando mis cosas favoritas en un note en el celular. Por mucho, mucho tiempo detesté las zapatillas blancas y este no fue un caso de si no puedes contra ellos, úneteles. Solo que de la nada me empezó a gustar como se veían. Lo único malo que debo decir acerca del tema es que estas se ensucian (y se nota) rapidísimo.

I posted a picture of mine in the official instagram for the blog (@humoyescarchablog). Believ it or not, that this made my favorites is really strange. I think about this list all week. I write down , delete and replace my favorites on a note on my phone. For so log I hated white sneakers, and randomly I just grew to like them. I must say there is negatives to them, like that they get dirty really quickly, and it shows.

Me parece preciosa y amo su estilo. Si soy múlti millonaria para el día de mi boda quiero que ella cante.

Obviously. I love her and I always will! Her album "Love. Angel. Music. Baby." is the soundtrack of my childhood. I'm not lying if I tell you guys I know all of these lyrics by heart! Besides being super musically talented, Gwen's a style icon and she's gorgeous! I love her style! If I'm already a millionaire for the time of my wedding, I'm so hiring her to perform.

Como cualquier mortal, quiero ir a Coachella. Obviamente no fui y eso me deprime un poco pero bueno, en algún momento de mi vida iré...lo juro!

Like every mortal, I wanna go to Coachella...I obviously didn't make it and although that's a little depressing I know I'll go some day. I swear!

En este post les tengo unas fotos que saqué de internet de algunos celebrities con looks que me llamaron la atención, por alguna razón la humanidad decidió en  conjunto que Coachella es EL lugar para todos vestirse como fucking locos, y obviamente eso me fascina. AMO los disfraces. 

On this post I'm sharing with you some pictures from around the web of the outfits which called my attention the most. I don't know why, but for some reason humanity decided it's OK to dress like a fucking crazy person at Coachella, and I obviously all for it. I LOVE costumes.

En mi opinión, Julianne Hough esta demasiado (DEMASIADO) over-rated y no me gusta su voz del todo, pero hey, estaba muy linda en Coachella, eso sí.

In my opinion, Julianne Hough is so, so, (SO) over-rated and I kind of  don't like her voice at all, but hey she looked really pretty at Coachella.

Man yo quiero ser amiga de Alessandra Ambrosio, mírenla lo linda que esta y lo bien que se ve que la esta pasando...

I so wanna be Alessandra Ambrosio's BFF. Just look at her! She looks so pretty and it looks like she's having a blast.

I find Kendall Jenner SO boring, I don't really like any Kardashians except Khloe....But hey, the girl aced Coachella, she looks awesome!

Kylie me da un poco de menos pereza que Kendall, y tiene fama de estar loquisima cosa evidente con sus outfits, que para Coachella estaban del carajo. Ella es un rockstar.

I find Kylie slightly cooler than Kendall. I've heard she is NUTS and that's sort of evident with her outfits, which were awesome at Coachella. She's a rockstar.

(On the last picture, you can't see her a lot but if you look closely you'll see she's the prettiest! P.S WTF is Selena wearing? Is that someone's table cloth or something?)

Por lo general me parece que Vanessa Hudgens se ve que esta trying to hard cuando se viste, pero en Coachella parecía una princesa del desierto. DIVINA

I generally think Vanessa Hudgens is trying too hard to look cool, but I must say she looked like a dessert princess at Coachella. BEAUTIFUL!

I know today's Sunday and I'm kind of supposed to post this every saturday and just last week I made the same mistake and promised you guys to not do it again...BUT being completely honest when I sat yesterday and tried to write this up I had NO idea what to write so I thought that quality was more important than punctuality, right?

Descubrí a "Stonecoldbetch" esta semana en twitter y después me di cuenta que también tiene un blog súper pritti. I discovered "stonecoldbetch" this week on twitter and later I realized that this girl also has a pretty cool blog. Me llamo mucho la atención como la primera y la última escena de la película tienen esta canción de fondo. Me encantó. Cantan como una historia y pienso yo que esas son las mejores canciones.

"Home" by Edward & the Magnetic Zeros. I really love this guys. Heard it for the first time as soundtrack to one of my favorite movies, "Stuck in Love". The song really caught my attention since it was used as background music for the movie's first and last scenes. The song is pretty much a story, and I've always thought those are the best type of songs. The link is above if you feel like listening.

Puede que sea un pasa tiempo medio infantil pero yo obvio soy una peter pan que no crece y esta vaina es mi vida. Me la paso haciéndolos cada vez que puedo! As of right now mi agenda esta llena de fotos de revistas y mis amigas están hartas que les pida mas y más revistas viejas cada vez que me pasan a buscar o algo. No se wao, me parece demasiado divertido. Lo que sí, esta cosa ensucia como nada. Es increíble como todo se enpuerca rapidísimo con los pedacitos de recortes.les recomiendo tener un basurero siempre que se vayan a tirar de artistas. La recogida que viene después siempre dura más de lo esperado.

It may be sort of childish but I really love it. I'm totally a never-aging peter pan gal and this shit is mah life. I seriously spent so much time doing this. As of right now my agenda/day planner is completely filled with magazine cut-outs and my friends are seriously sick of listening to me ask for their old magazines. I son't know why, but I find this uber fun. The only not so great part of this hobby is the mess it leaves behind. It can get your floor really dirty with little magazine pieces. I do recommend you get a trashcan for those artsy days were you feel like collaging your whole life.

Hola! Conozco mucha gente que como yo,AMA lookbook.nu, y gente que no tiene idea de su existencia. Esa última tiene que cambiar. Como podrán ver lookbook.nu es un socialmedia para outfits mas que nada. La verdad yo no tengo user, ni me considero lo suficientemente estilosa para tener (por ahora), pero me inspiran mucho los que si tienen.
