My Valentines!

Hola! Hoy con el  ánimo empalagoso de San Valentín que le resulta ladilla a casi todo el mundo he decidido hacer un post acerca del amor, y todos los hombres que amo y obvi me aman devuelta...solo que aún no lo saben o les estresa un poco mi edad. Bueno whatever, Aquí va la lista de mis valentines sin ningún orden especifico de preferencia porque eso ya sería muy difícil.

Hola a todos! Hoy es sábado y mientras visitaba a Lauren en laurenconrad.com y leía sus Friday Favorites pensé que yo también podía hacer una versión parecida los sábados: Los seis del sábado o Saturday's Six, que a mi parecer suena mas bonito. Cosas que no entiendo

Hola amigos del internet, creo que es completamente aceptable de mi parte si digo que ando confundida la mitad del tiempo con esto de "las verdades de la vida", el "sentido común"y la "simple logica". Al fin y al cabo que hace a algo ser obvio? Nada es obvio, o casi nada por lo menos. En este post les he recopilado 5 cosas que dan vueltas en mi cerebro casi que todos los días en las esperanzas que a ustedes también los confundan y no sea yo la única pendeja.

Hi there Internet friends, I think it's completely acceptable if I say I'm confused half the time with this "true life" shit, the "common sense" and "simple logic". What makes something obvious anyway? Nothing is obvious, or almost nothing at least. In this post I have gathered 5 questions that go around my mind every day without me having an answer for them in the hopes that you are as confused as I am and that I'm not so clueless. 

1. Porque los vestidos de baño son mas caros que la ropa? 

Si es menos tela utilizada, menos tiempo de fábrica, y si no me equivoco menos complique con lo de las tallas....cual es la necesidad de cobrar 45 dólares por un panty y 60 por un top. porque ah, obvio que no los pueden vender juntos.

1. Why are bikinis so much more expensive than actual clothing? If there's less fabric involved, less time in factories and if I'm correct, less issues with the sizing.....what's the necessity of charging 45 dollars for a bottom and 60 for a top!? Because of course there is NO WAY anyone is selling them together

2. La homofobia en general

No entiendo, simplemente no entiendo. Nunca la entendí. Supongo que es normal que no te agrade mucho la idea de la manera no convencional de vida que llevan los homosexuales, pero llevarlo al punto de homofobia? en serio!? Eso ya es mas que demasiado! NO ES TU PROBLEMA. y no afecta a nadie. Una vez escuche que las parejas homosexuales duran menos como pareja y se divorcian o separan relativamente rápido en comparación a otras como argumento a que no se les debería permitir casarse...NO puedo enfatizar mas lo estúpido que me sonó ese argumento. El matrimonio que debió ser ya casi ni existe, todo el mundo se divorcia. Y por mas que tampoco me agrade la idea del divorcio, me agrada aún menos la idea que "porque igual se van a divorciar" sea un argumento. Es total y completamente hipócrita. 

2. Homophobia in general.

I just do not understand. Never understood really. I suppose it's normal to not precisely like the idea of the non-conventional way of living of the homosexuals, but to take it to a point of homophobia? really!? That's just too much. IT"S NOT YOUR PROBLEM. it doesn't really affect anyone. I once heard that homosexual couples last less than hetero couples and get divorced quicker or break up faster as an argument to why they should not get married...and I cant emphasize enough how stupid I thought that argument was. Marriage as it is supposed to be, barely exists anymore. Everyone is getting divorced, and as much as I hate the idea of divorce I hate even more the idea that "they would get divorced anyway" is an argument. I's totally and completely hypocrite.

3. A la gente que dice no disfrutar las películas de acción o comedias románticas porque "les falta sustancia"

Oh wao, creo que podría hacer un post ENTERO de este tema. Esa gente sí me sofoca. Ok, la razón primordial (en mi opinion) para cualquier tipo de entretenimiento es pasarla bien, distraerte un rato...y a quien no le distrae una maratón de Duro de Matar, Misión Imposible o de películas tipo The Ugly Truth, The Proposal y Friends with Benefits? Las tramas son simples, y esa es toda la gracia. La vida de por sí ya es complicada...no siempre necesitas agregarle compliques y estreses extra por 2 horas.

3. People that say they do not enjoy action movies or romantic comedies because "they lack substance"

Oh God, I think I could make an entire post about how much these people bother me. Ok, the very reason for any type of entertainment is having a good time, distracting yourself for a while....and who doesn't get distracted by a Die Hard or Mission Impossible marathon or one of movies like The Ugly Truth, The Proposal and Friends with Benefits? The plot is simple, and that's the fun of it. Life in itself is complicated, you don't always need to add on more issues to stress yourself for two hours.

4. La gente que se dedica a hablar pestes de otra gente

Conozco mas personas así de las que quisiera. Esto es tan no cool en tantos diferentes niveles. Tal vez mi filosofía de este tema sea un poco egoísta, pero sigue siendo completamente honesta. Yo soy una persona que toma orgullo en dar opiniones honestas a lo que en realidad pienso y siento acerca de lo que me rodea, y siento que no te debes meter en lo que no te importa. PORQUE les importa tanto lo que iso la otra persona...en verdad hay tantos otros temas de conversación, lo juro.

4.People that dedicate their lives to talking shit of other people

I know more people like this than I wish. This is so not cool in so many levels. Maybe my philosophy about this is a tiny bit selfish, but it's still 100% honest. And I'm the type of person who takes pride in giving honest opinions to what I really I think and/or believe of what surrounds me, and I feel that you should mind your own business. WHY do people care so much about what somebody else did....There's so many other more interesting conversation topics I swear.

5. El Movimiento ese de "las gordas son hermosas"

A mi parecer, la salud es hermosa y si estas en sobrepeso por default no cabes en la lista. Como te puedes hacer eso a ti misma? Acortar tu tiempo de vida y arriesgar tu salud de tal manera por algo como la comida. No digo que todas debemos ser talla 2, pero si debemos hacer lo posible siempre por estar en un peso saludable. Belleza es salud.

5.That "fat is beautiful" movement

I believe health is beautiful, and if you're overweight by default you do not fit in the list. How can you do this to yourself? Cutting down your own life time and risking your health in such ways for something as stupid as food.  do not think we should all be size twos, but we should all strive to be healthy. Health is beauty, Beauty is health.

Social Networking

Primero que nada , les pido disculpas a ustedes (y a mi misma, ya que esto es parte de mis resoluciones) por haber estado tan perdida últimamente. Esto del proyecto fama esta resultando un poco mas canson y complicado de lo que parecía desde un principio....aunque aún así súper divertido. Hoy les quería hablar de algo que tengo en mente hace mucho, los social networks y eso como puede make you o break you. Es increíble como gente desconocida, desde bloggers a youtubers, comediantes de twitter y perros de instagram son parte de mi día a día desde el otro lado del mundo. No me parece malo esto de las redes sociales la verdad, mientras sepas usarlas claro. Una de mis bloggers favoritas, Lauren Conrad de laurenconrad.com hiso un post entero al respecto, míralo aquí y la verdad no puedo estar mas de acuerdo con ella.

Before anything else, I want to apologize to you all (and to myself since this blogging thing is part of my 2014 resolutions) for being such a slacker lately. My "Project: Fame" has resulted to be way more tiring and complicated than it sounded like in the beginning....even though it's still fun. Today I wanted to talk to you guys about Social networking, and how they can make you or break you. I find amazing how total and complete strangers from all around the globe are part of my day-to-day, from bloggers to youtubers, to twitter comedians and instafamous dogd. I don't think social networks are bad at all, as long as you know how to and when to use them. One of my fave bloggers, Lauren Conrad from laurenconrad.com dedicated a full post about it, you can read it here since I couldn't agree more with LC.

Hablando claro, por mas que trates no vas a poder hacer que desaparezcan. Conectan el mundo en tantas maneras....esto ya es irreversible; y aunque por lo general no estoy de acuerdo con eso de "si no puedes contra ellos, uneteles" esta vez si. Quiero pensar que a varios de ustedes les interesa mi vida y me quieren seguir siguiendo, así que con este post los invito a todas mis redes sociales:
